One of my few Christmas traditions for over a decade has been listening to Darlene Love perform this song on Letterman just before Christmas Day. It's such a shame that because of the Writer's Guild strike, we probably won't have the pleasure this year. It really breaks my heart. I posted the '05 version at the end of last year, so here is the '06 version. Enjoy :)

It just can't be considered Christmas at all until I hear "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Darlene Love.
I don't know if you would call this "holiday cheer" but the song that gets me every single year is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" but it has to be the version by Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders. I've spent many a Christmas Eve listening to that and bawling my eyes out.
