Based on the Mark Millar graphic novel, Wanted follows a young man (James McAvoy) who finds out his long lost father is an assassin. And when his father is murdered, the son is recruited into his father’s old organization and trained by a man named Sloan (Morgan Freeman) to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Angelina Jolie, Terence Stamp and Common also star.

The trailer can also be viewed in High Definition on Yahoo! Movies. Wanted hits theaters on March 28th 2008.

I'm diggin the choice of Robert Downey Jr for Stark.  And the suit looks amazing. The flying scenes alone look look like it makes it worth the price of admission.

Ultra-realistic CGI movie staring Angelina Jolie. Ok she isn't really the main character but if I do go see this, then she'll be the one I'm looking for the whole time.

In a letter written by Abrams himself to Ain’t It Cool News, the Lost producer sets a few things straight:

“Yeah, we’re doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn’t kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat’s about what’s online? So as you can imagine, we’re focusing mostly on THAT. For what it’s worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.”

I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore. Clearly Abrams is teasing us here by insinuating there are more sites out there to be found (we’ve gotten word that slusho.jp is one of these sites, but I can’t figure out what it has to do with 1-18-08, other than lend more support to the Godzilla rumors). And if those Ethan Haas sites aren’t connected to Cloverfield, then what the hell are they?

WTF???  Is this a joke, or did someone really decide to make one of those old school, bang bang, witty one-liners, crazy over the top bad-guy, hero pulled in against his will movies?  Call me crazy but I think I actually want to see this!
